Pastor David – Called Home to Glory

It is with deep sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news that Pastor David Lalgee of Church Alive, Blackpool tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident on the M60 last Thursday evening.

“David was a devoted servant of God, a shepherd to his congregation, and a man whose faith and love touched so many lives. His passing is an unimaginable loss, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of our Lord. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). In his final moments, David demonstrated the very essence of this love.

Even in this pain, we see God’s hand at work through the kindness and compassion of those around us. We remain strong in our faith, trusting in God’s perfect plan, even when we cannot fully understand it.

Please keep his wife, his family, and the Church Alive community in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
